Terms of Service – GlowLog

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using GlowLog ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
GlowLog is a skincare routine tracking application that allows you to:
- Create and track AM/PM skincare routines
- Manage a personal skincare product inventory
- Log daily skin diary entries with mood tracking and lifestyle factors
- Track progress with streaks, charts, and insights
- Optionally sync data across devices via cloud backup
- Compare skin progress photos over time
GlowLog is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.
3. Account Registration
- You may use GlowLog without an account (offline mode)
- To enable cloud sync, you must create an account using email/password or Sign in with Apple
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account
4. GlowLog Pro Subscription
GlowLog is free to download and use. Optional GlowLog Pro premium features are available through in-app purchases.
Plans and Pricing
- Monthly subscription: $3.99/month, auto-renewing
- Yearly subscription: $29.99/year, auto-renewing
- Lifetime purchase: $14.99, one-time payment
Free Tier Limitations: Up to 2 routines, up to 5 products, basic progress stats, and local data storage.
Pro Features: Unlimited routines and products, photo comparison tool, full weekly insights and analytics, PDF data export, cloud photo backup, and product expiry notifications.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
Managing Subscriptions
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings in the App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Payment
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle any payment information directly. Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies. Contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.
5. Apple Standard EULA
This application is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
6. User Content
- You retain ownership of all content you create in GlowLog
- By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service
- You are responsible for the content you enter. Do not upload illegal, harmful, or offensive material
- We do not monitor, review, or moderate user content
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use automated systems to access the app
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's servers or networks
8. Health Disclaimer
GlowLog is not a medical device or health service. The app is intended for personal skincare routine tracking only. Skin mood ratings, lifestyle tracking, and product effectiveness data are self-reported and for personal reference only. The app does not diagnose skin conditions, recommend treatments, or provide medical advice. Consult a dermatologist or healthcare professional for skin health concerns.
9. Intellectual Property
GlowLog, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Q8 Dev. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of GlowLog is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backing up your local data. We are not liable for data loss on your device.
11. Availability and Updates
We strive to keep GlowLog available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Cloud sync depends on third-party services (Supabase) which may experience downtime.
12. Termination
You may stop using GlowLog at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
GLOWLOG IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Q8 DEV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGE TO DEVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR GLOWLOG PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
15. Apple-Specific Terms
These Terms are between you and Q8 Dev, not Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for GlowLog. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to GlowLog. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
