Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I restore my purchases?
A: Go to the Shop tab and tap the "Restore Purchases" button. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to make the original purchase.
Q: I purchased Remove Ads but still see ads. What should I do?
A: First, try tapping "Restore Purchases" in the Shop. If ads still appear, restart the app. Rewarded video ads (that give you bonuses) will still be available even with Remove Ads purchased.
Q: How does the Premium Pass work?
A: Premium Pass gives you 2x idle income permanently. Once purchased, all offline earnings are automatically doubled.
Q: What happens when I prestige?
A: Prestiging resets your BTC, upgrades, and bots, but you gain permanent prestige upgrades that make future runs faster. Your gems and IAP purchases are NOT reset.
Q: How do I earn gems without paying?
A: Watch rewarded video ads to earn 50 gems each. You can also earn gems through special events and achievements.
Q: Why isn't my Game Center leaderboard updating?
A: Make sure you're signed in to Game Center in iOS Settings. Leaderboards update automatically when you earn BTC or prestige. If it's still not working, try signing out and back in to Game Center.
Q: I lost my game progress. Can you restore it?
A: Game progress is stored locally on your device. If you deleted the app or got a new device, progress cannot be restored. We recommend backing up your device regularly with iCloud.
Q: How do offline earnings work?
A: When you close the app, your bots continue earning BTC for up to 2 hours. When you return, you'll collect all offline earnings. Premium Pass doubles offline income.
Q: Can I get a refund for in-app purchases?
A: All purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit
reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Q: The app crashes or freezes. What should I do?
A: Try these steps:
- Force close the app and reopen it
- Restart your device
- Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
- Make sure your iOS is up to date
- If the problem persists, contact support
Q: How do I cancel my Premium Pass subscription?
A: Go to iOS Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Hack Tycoon → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium Pass benefits until the end of the current billing period.
